If you have trouble using a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What
You Get) program to integrate your TextBoxTraffic code, here is a master
list of specific tips for the following programs:
Adobe GoLive 4.0
AOLPress
Arachnophilia
CuteHTML 1.0 Beta
Dreamweaver 2
Dreamweaver 3.0
FortuneCity
HotDog Professional 5.5
HotMetal Pro
Microsoft Frontpage
Microsoft Frontpage 2000
Net Object Fusion 4.0
Net Object Fusion 5.0
Netscape Composer
Page Mill 3.0
Adobe GoLive 4.O
To integrate our JavaScript with the Adobe GoLive 4.0 editor, make sure
you:
1. Open your page in Adobe GoLive 4.0.
2. Click on the 'Source' tab.
3. Paste all of your TextBoxTraffic code between the <body> and
</body> tags.
4. Click 'Preview' tab to view the result and then save the page.
Note: Do not attempt to move the banner in any other mode (such as
'Layout') after inserting the code. Doing so will alter the TextBoxTraffic
code and produce script errors on the page when it is viewed in a browser.
AOLPress
We recommend that you do not use AOLPress to edit pages that contain the TextBoxTraffic
JavaScript code. The current version of AOLPress does not support this
code. Try using a different HTML editor or a text editor such as Notepad
to integrate a tracking script to your site.
ARACHNOPHILIA
Arachnophilia works fine with the TextBoxTraffic JavaScript. However, if
you do experience problems with it, please review the following:
1.Insert the original TextBoxTraffic code into your page between the
<body> </body> tags.
2. Click on Preview in the dropdown menu.
3. Click on Instant View Mode to see your updated page with our tracking
script in it.
CuteHTML 1.0 Beta
To integrate a tracking script with the CuteHTML editor:
1. Insert the original JavaScript code between the <body>
</body> tags.
2. Save the page as an html document and open in a browser to view
changes.
Dreamweaver 2
Problems with Dreamweaver may be caused by a change in the TextBoxTraffic
code. To integrate properly:
1. Open your page in Dreamweaver and click on the <HTML> tab.
2. Scroll through and insert the TextBoxTraffic code into the <HTML>
window anywhere between the <body> </body> tags.
3. Close the <HTML> window and save the changes to your page as a .htm
document.
Dreamweaver 3.0
If you experience problems integrating the tracking script using
Dreamweaver 3:
1. Open your web page in Dreamweaver 3.0.
2. Select 'HTML source code' from the 'Window' pull-down menu.
3. Make sure that any previous TextBoxTraffic code has been eliminated
from your source code.
4. Copy and Paste to insert code anywhere between the <body> and
</body> tags.
5. Preview in Browser to make sure that the code is inserted properly.
6. Save file.
Note: Once the TextBoxTraffic code has been inserted, the banner should
not be moved in any other mode. Doing so may alter the code, producing
javascript errors when it is viewed in a browser. If you wish to change
the placement of the banner, the code should be completely deleted and
reinserted using the above steps.
FortuneCity
If you are experiencing problems with your tracking script, FortuneCity
may have altered the TextBoxTraffic code. Please remove the existing TextBoxTraffic
code and follow the below steps.
1. Use File Manager to edit your selected file.
2. Add the TextBoxTraffic code between the <body> </body> tags

and select a browser to view the page in.
HotMetal Pro

</Body> tags. Ignore any markup errors.

Netscape Composer

2) Go to the preferences tab and select composer.
3) Go to the box External Editors.
4) Under HTML Source please select an editor.
5) Click on the choose button and go to your directory
6) Find either notepad.exe(Windows), or SimpleText (Macintosh) file.
